So, I would say all in all, it was a great first day at the Australian Open. A lot of great action took place and a few interesting stories were started – both on and off the court.
Now, if you’ve missed some of what we’ve all been buzzing about like the 5 set comeback by Monfils or the daring dress of Venus Williams, chances are (…like most of us) you’ve had some trouble following this confusing schedule because of the giant time difference.

Hi guys,
As you’ve probably already heard, the 2011 Australian Open is officially under way.
Now, though there isn’t a doubt in my mind that many of the matches will be wildy entertaining (…with jaw-dropping shots coming from every angle), I don’t want you to just watch them as pure eye candy.
Sure, we’re all fans of the game. And I want you to have fun and enjoy the heck out of it. Jump up and down while cheering for your favorite player if you like. But I encourage you to do a little more, so you can truly get the most benefit out of these next two weeks…
